After dinner with her friends, Tori found herself back home, taking stock of the heaping bowl of blackberries on her counter. Fresh fruit opened up new possibilities for the Custard Challenge, but these wouldn’t last in the fridge until Saturday. She’d freeze most of them, leaving enough to experiment with over the next couple of days, and do another picking before she drove up to Sonoma on Friday.
